RESISTANT

SELF-EXPANDABLE PERIPHERAL STENT

Resistant is a peripheral open cell stenting system in self-expandable nitinol equipped with retraction system to limit jumping effect during pull-back. The particular design of this stent with rounded corners, combined with a very smooth surface, reduces system thrombogenicity to a minimum. In particular, its crown structure enables it to adapt uniformly to the vessel, thus reducing endothelial wall lesions and stress. System consists of two components: stent and release delivery system. The 5 F Delivery System is applied to a 0.021’’ (0.53 mm) or 0.018’’ (0.46 mm) guide wire, whilst the 6 F Delivery System to a 0.035’’(0.89mm) guide wire. Atraumatic tip.

INDICATIONS

Resistant stents are only recommended for the peripheral vascular system in the event of:

  • De novo atherosclerotic lesions
  • Restenosis
  • Result of insufficient angioplasty
  • Residual stenosis following balloon dilation of over 50%
  • Dissection with blocked vessel
  • Recoil in the event of bypass anastomotic stenosis
  • Closure of iliac arteries

FEATURES

  • Highly flexible
  • Adapts very well to vessel
  • No need for resizing
  • Does not deform structure
  • Supports lesion uniformly
  • Less irritation at a vasal level

STERILISATION AND STORAGE

Sterilised with EO (ethylene oxide) gas. Single use.

Do not resterilise. Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C.

Supplied in individual pack.
